We had 1 night in Chetumal, spent our time here comfortably. Our room cost was MXN 1486. Not to mention free parking nearby.

Great value, terrific service offered. Very superior hotel, really close to the downtown, 10 minutes' walk. Also, distance to a modest museum was just 1 km. The superior king room suited us: it had climate control, an ironing set and a work desk.
